Our Privacy Policy describes our policies with regards to the collection, disclosure and use of your personal information that we collect through our Services, such as your name, username, address, phone number, e-mail address, date of birth, payment information and transaction history. We ask for and collect this information to provide and improve our Services to you.
Account Information
When you register for an account or update your existing profile, we collect your name, username, phone number, e-mail address, and date of birth. If you opt-in to location services, we may collect information about your location. We use this information to create and administer your account and to provide you with our Services.
Profile Information
To use certain features of the luest Platform (such as posting or renting an item), we may ask you to provide additional information, which include address, phone number, and profile picture.
Location Information
When you post an item, luest will ask you to provide an address for the delivery or pick-up of the item, which will not be visible to the public, and only made available to the Renter in which you approve of. Otherwise, an approximate location of the item will be visible to the public.
When you rent an item, and request delivery, luest will ask you to provide an address for the item to be delivered to. This address will only be visible to us and the Lender.
When you use our Platform, luest keeps track of your location search history. If you opt-in to location services, we may collect information about your location. If you choose, you may-opt out using your device’s settings menu.
Payment Information
To use certain features of the luest Platform (such as Lending or Renting), we may require you to provide certain financial information, such as your bank account, credit card, or PayPal information in order to facilitate the processing of payments.
Rental Information
We collect details of your rental transactions, which include, item information, date and time of the pick-up or delivery, amount charged and associated fees, and payment method. When you rent and return an item, you will be asked to provide condition pictures, which may ask you to grant access to your mobile camera. Additionally, if you use our chat services, we may track chat history. luest will keep track of your reviews and ratings.
Use of Data
luest uses the collected data for the purposes of:
- Providing you our Services
- Monitoring the usage and performance of our Services
- Managing your requests and resolving any disputes
- Providing you with notifications, information about our Services, and special offers
Retention of Your Data
We will retain your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
Sharing and Disclosure

Sharing Providers
These third parties have access to your personal data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Google Analytics: Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.
Google AdWords: Google AdWords remarketing service is provided by Google Inc. You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize the Google Display Network ads by visiting the Google Ads Settings page.
Payments using Paypal and Stripe: We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. Children’s Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18.
